God Almighty Reaffirms His Covenant and Provides a Personal Confirmation and a Generational Sign
Genesis 17:1-14
- God Almighty appears to Abram and reaffirms his covenant
- Genesis 17:1–4
- Abram’s name is changed as a preemptive confirmation
- Genesis 17:5–8
- Abraham, and all his descendants, are expected to be circumcised as a sign of their participation in the covenant
