Adult Discipleship

Equip Classes are designed to help people become committed disciples that Glorify God and Exalt Jesus as they REACH UP through worship and prayer, REACH IN through fellowship and discipleship, and REACH OUT through evangelism and ministry.

"To EQUIP the saints for the work of ministry, for the building up of the body of Christ” (Ephesians 4:12).

Most Equip Classes meet on Wednesday night at 6:15 p.m. throughout the year.  At times, only one large class is offered and is taught by one of our pastors. At other times, multiple smaller classes are offered.  Participants are encouraged to select a class that will help them grow in a personal area of need using our Core Competencies as a guide.  Occasionally, Equip Classes are held at times other than Wednesday night.

Our Winter Equip class will begin on Wednesday, January 15 at 6:15. Here is what is being offered:

Distinct! Join Pastor Ryan in the Fellowship Hall as he teaches through the end of February on Baptist Distinctives. This interactive class will explore the history of Baptists as well as the doctrines and practices that make us distinct among protestant evangelicals.

Ladies Wednesday Morning Bible Study

This semester the Ladies Wednesday morning Bible Study will be "Better: A Study of Hebrews" by Jen Wilkin. In this 10-session, verse-by-verse study, we will explore how God "provided something better for us" in the person of Jesus Christ. Through stories of Old Testament heroes and practices, the author of Hebrews demonstrates how the new covenant is superior to the old and how Jesus Christ is the fulfillment of every promise.

Book cost is $15. Childcare provided. Please sign up at the Information Desk for planning purposes.
