Dive into the world of pastoral ministry with the Nansemond River Baptist Church Summer Pastoral Internship. Tailored for college and graduate school men who aspire to pastoral ministry, this internship offers a hands-on learning experience that goes beyond the classroom.
Join us as we focus on foundational skills such as healthy ecclesiology, pastoral care, evangelism mobilization, preaching, discipleship programming, worship coordination, and church administration. Gain practical insight and real-world experience in a vibrant and diverse congregational setting, where every moment shapes your journey toward becoming a prepared and well-rounded pastor.
Interns will dedicate approximately 20 hours per week for ten weeks, from June 3rd to August 18th (with a vacation break from July 1st to 7th). As a gesture of appreciation for your commitment, interns will receive a total compensation of $2,500.
